OUR STORY
The origins of CRx go back to the beginning of the commercial use of RFID with the work of the AutoID Labs at MIT.
CRx’s predecessor, ComponentSoft, took the founding concepts from the laboratory to the practice to enabled the Department of Defense to track war fighters’ equipment in the early 2000s’.
While the commercial applications of RFID did not develop as rapidly as anticipated, ComponentSoft offered Consumer Packaged Goods Manufacturers real-time visibility, combined with traditional enterprise information from Factory, to Warehouse, to the Retail Store.
As regulatory requirements drove the need for Chain of Custody & Compliance in the Healthcare sector CRx was born.
